Mark Carney has taken oath as the new Prime Minister of Canada. He has become the 24th Prime Minister of Canada. He has taken oath today. He has replaced former PM Justin Trudeau. Elections were held in Canada some time ago. In which Justin Trudeau had to face defeat, he was the PM of Canada since 2015. Now after the arrival of the new Prime Minister, it is believed that the new Prime Minister of Canada will try to move his country forward amid the trade war started by US President Donald Trump, the threat of merger and so on.

Let us tell you that 59-year-old Mark Carney will replace Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Justin Trudeau announced his resignation in January itself. However, he remained in power until the Liberal Party elected a new leader.  Canada's new Prime Minister Mark Carney said that if Trump shows respect for Canadian sovereignty and is ready to adopt a common approach, a more comprehensive approach to trade, then he is ready to meet him.

Recently, America has imposed a 25 percent tariff on Canadian steel and aluminum and this tariff will come into effect from April 2. He has threatened and suggested that the border line between Canada and America is an imaginary line. He does not believe in this border line. Canada should become the 51st state.

The American tariff war and Trump's talk of making Canada the 51st American state has angered the Canadian people. This is increasing resentment among the Canadian people. In protest against this, some people are canceling trips south of the border and many people are avoiding buying American goods. Due to the tariff war from America, a rise of nationalism is being seen among the people in Canada.
