Important talks between Trump and Putin on Ukraine war, 30-day ceasefire announced

"Trump and Putin held a crucial meeting on the Ukraine war, discussing a 30-day ceasefire, prisoner exchange and the role of Western countries. Learn the key decisions of this meeting and their global impact!"

Putin-Trump meeting

On 18 March 2025, an important conversation took place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and former US President Donald Trump. The Ukraine war was mainly discussed in this conversation.

In this conversation, Trump and Putin have agreed to stop attacks on Ukraine's energy grid for 30 days.

Putin has said that for the next 30 days Russia will not attack Ukraine's energy infrastructure (power plant, grid). Apart from this, he said that if Western countries stop giving military aid to Ukraine, only then Russia will fully consider the ceasefire. Western countries should stop military aid to Ukraine. This will be an important step for a ceasefire, this will not lead to a ceasefire and peace will come in the region. This will be beneficial for both the countries.

Apart from this, both the countries have agreed on the exchange of 175 prisoners. This includes 23 seriously injured Ukrainian soldiers. Who are undergoing treatment in Russia, this process will start from 19 March 2025.  This conversation is considered an important step towards ending the Ukraine war. Now the international community is watching whether it can turn into a peace agreement or not.

Ukrainian President Zelensky will now respond to this agreement

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is considering this proposal and will soon give his official response. No response has come yet. Meanwhile, Zelensky has reached Finland to negotiate military assistance. He has written on a Telegram post. That he is going to meet Finland's President Alexander Stubb. There he will also meet Finland's Prime Minister and defense representatives. The main agenda of this meeting is to export weapons to Ukraine, to include it in Europe. At present, Finland has also confirmed that Zelensky is coming to Finland.

Other countries have also reacted to this ceasefire, all countries have welcomed it. And it is said that a complete ceasefire in Russia and Ukraine will be beneficial for all. Peace will bring happiness and prosperity in both the countries and the economic structure will develop.  Even before this, there was a meeting between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Putin. In which he said that Russia should stop the war, it will be beneficial for both the countries. If Russia does not stop the war, it will have to face sanctions and these sanctions will be very terrible or will prove fatal for Russia. We do not want any step to be taken for this. We want peace as soon as possible and both the countries live in peace like before. Just a few days ago, there was a meeting between Russian President Donald Trump and Zelensky in which there was a very heated debate between the two. In which Trump angrily said that you will agree only after having a third world war. He asked Zelensky to leave from there.

After this, a meeting was again held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in which American representatives participated. This meeting was held under the chairmanship of Saudi Arabia in which a 30-day ceasefire agreement was reached. After this, American officials reached Moscow and talks were held with them. After this, the President and Putin again met.  In which Russia agreed to a 30-day ceasefire. Now let's see if everything goes well and the 30-day agreement between the two countries will be implemented. Later, this conversation will bear fruit and it is possible that this conversation will gradually lead to a complete ceasefire, which will be beneficial for both countries. The whole world is watching this ceasefire. If it gradually turns into a complete ceasefire, then there will be happiness and prosperity in both the countries as well as in the whole world.
